"Unfortunately, this year there have been cases of presenting fake UNT certificates. Currently, the documents for the grant competition are being accepted, and more than 10 attempts to submit fake certificates to the admission committees have already been registered," the center stated.
The center assured that it is impossible to forge a UNT certificate. Each certificate contains a unique QR code that allows for instant verification of its authenticity.
"Moreover, the UNT certificate is an official document, and its forgery entails criminal liability under Article 385 of the Criminal Code. For example, in this fake certificate, the QR code is unreadable, and all the numbers are written in different fonts and sizes," noted the NTC, publishing a photo of the fake certificate.
All attempts to forge certificates will be handed over to law enforcement agencies for appropriate action.
"Dear friends! We strongly urge you to refrain from any attempts to break the law. Forging documents can lead to serious consequences, and we are confident that your hard work and honesty will bring you much greater success," the center addressed young Kazakhstani citizens.
